Tony "Lightning" Luis in the red corner goes toe to toe with Jessy Lamoureux of Terrebonne, Que. in a four rounder. Jessy is the Que. Golden Gloves Champion. It was a great fight that earned these two great kids fight of the night honors. It was a good action filled fight from start to finish.

Joe Martineau in the red corner mixes it up with Anthony Savard of Terrebonne,Que. Joe was thrown off by his southpaw style and finally adjusted in the last round. It was an evenly matched fight and Joe rose to the occasion.

Special thanks to Club 454 in Terrebonne for putting together a fun, fight filled event. There was a full house at hand to watch all of these great competitors put it together and battle it out. Our fighters fought well and we are proud of them. We had a great time and I would like to personally thank Sylvain Raymond the owner of Club 454 who also fought in the event, Benoit Raymond his brother and manager, and Pierre Berrouard who did a great job of organizing this event. Alex St-laurent shown above receiving his trophy from Benoit for his victory. Alex is 3-0-2 with 2 back to back KO's, a rare feat in the amateurs. Great job Alex !!!!

Click on photo to enlargeChan-Tan Didier has been a referee for 2 years now. Chan-Tan attended many events before becoming an official. I think that Chan is by far one of the best officials that I have encountered to date. He works the ring like a professional. This great sport of amateur boxing needs many more officials like Chan. Keep up the good work you are an inspiration to the sport...
